Browsing and your basket

You can browse without creating an account. The site uses local storage in your browser to remember product IDs, pack selections and quantities in your basket. Customer names, addresses and notes are not saved to that basket. Remove the items or clear your browser’s site data to delete it.

Enquiries and orders

You may provide your name, email, optional phone number and message through the enquiry form. The form prepares a WhatsApp draft in your browser. These details are passed to WhatsApp when you open the draft and are shared with OGFOODS when you press Send. Order drafts can contain your optional name, delivery country, postcode and instructions.

OGFOODS uses information you choose to send to respond to enquiries and discuss and fulfil orders. Please avoid including sensitive information that is unnecessary for your enquiry.

WhatsApp and email

WhatsApp is an external service with its own privacy practices. Follow-up communications through WhatsApp and your email provider are subject to those services’ policies. The website does not collect card details or process payments.

Cookies, logs and hosting

The store does not install advertising or analytics tools. Basket persistence uses local storage. The hosting service may process technical connection data and logs for operation and security. The administrator area uses a session cookie for sign-in. Failed sign-in attempts are limited using hashes of the submitted email and connection IP address, retained for security.

Retention and requests

Contact OGFOODS to ask about information you have sent, request a correction or request deletion where applicable. The business will confirm any records that must be retained for an order or other obligations. A specific business retention period has not yet been supplied.

Product management

The owner signs in to manage the product catalogue. Product details and administrator records are stored in the shop database. Uploaded images are stored on the hosting account. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Uploaded product images can be displayed to website visitors. Do not upload personal or sensitive images. Access to catalogue editing is restricted to the authorised owner.
